Bird Watching in Lion Country - Review

First impressions are the lasting impressions. I started reading the book and did not put it down untill I had finished reading every last word.

I have read many trading books over the last years, and can honestly say that not one of them have left me with such a lasting impression than "Bird Watching in Lion Country" by Dirk Du Toit (AKA DR.FOREX).

The author of this excellent book are a very successful Forex trader, writing with passion about what he does for a living in Retail Forex Trading. The book is extremely well written and very precise in the general overview of the market as well as the 4 x1 trading strategy + median trading methodology employed by the author himself. The book is a must read for all, beginner traders and experienced traders alike.

This is a Forex trading system that does work ! The author does not pull any punches regarding the risk attached to trading the Forex market. There is no hype or unrealistic promises of making a quick buck. If traders of all levels of experience take heed of the equity management principals repeated and drummed home time and again in this book, then I believe any trader and even the experienced traders will start making money in Retail Forex trading.

So what were our first impressions? a Definite eye-opener! some people might say controversial perhaps, definitely prescriptive and certainly a refreshing change from all the other books on trading you find in the market today. There are no promises of "get rich quick", no vague discussions on trading methodologies and the normal conventional tried and tested trading principals. Intra day, intra week, position and swing traders will all benefit from the ideas and concepts described in this book!

Every aspect of the Author's trading strategy are well motivated and proven to you in this excellent book. As we all should know by now, there is no Holy Grail in trading methodologies - this is the nearest you are going to get ! This Forex trading system will provide you with an edge in trading that increases your odds to trade successfully on a daily basis and should be embraced.
